Interests & Specialties
After 28 years in the travel industry, I have experienced working with hotels, cruise lines and tour companies everywhere from London to Tokyo to Patagonia. My specialties include South America, Italy and Great Britain. After working in corporate travel for many years, I have found that leisure travel is where I can truly exercise my expertise. I enjoy finding the perfect trip for my clients, and planning every detail to make sure that it is executed flawlessly. One of the amazing things about my work is being in contact with people from all over the world on a daily basis. I feel comfortable sending clients virtually anywhere because I know that I will have a contact there.
Peru stands out as my favorite excursion. As a Spanish major, I heard nothing but amazing things about Machu Picchu and Lima. Over 20 years after graduating, I finally got to experience the beautiful area first hand. The rich and unique culture and the diversity of the country; the mountains, canyons, and beaches, makes going to Peru an unforgettable experience.

The Central American map offers many discoveries in Belize, Guatemala and Panama.
An experience in Belize can offer anything from cave tubing to diving the Blue Hole. Visit Blancaneaux Lodge, a Virtuoso Lodge and jungle retreat in an entirely self-sustained sanctuary. Discover a paradise where waterfalls spill into turquoise pools and Mayan ruins spring from the forest. Relax on your own private island on Cayo Espanto, where paradise and luxury come together as one.
From Guatemala City take a drive to the beautiful city of Antigua where you can take a guided tour of the craft markets with a textile expert and finish the day shopping with her featured artisans. Fly over to Tikal for the day and explore the ancient Mayan city and lush rain forest that surrounds the ruins. Enjoy the beautiful views of the volcano ringed Lake Atitlan from the private balcony of your seven room hotel.
In Panama witness the stunning engineering of the Canal and magnificent Gatun Lake, the source of most of the water that makes the Panama Canal possible. In the jungles of Panama, enjoy flora and fauna with an emphasis on bird life not found anywhere else on the planet.
In South America, a remarkable journey in the Galapagos brings you face to face with the extraordinary natural wonders of this wildlife sanctuary. With an experienced staff of naturalists you encounter wildlife that has no fear of humans and that is so abundant that you may have to watch your footing to avoid disturbing a resting sea lion or passing iguana.

Interests & Specialties With over twenty years in the travel industry, my specialty is meeting, group and incentive travel management. I enjoy building long term relationships with my clients, as well as managing the many components for a successful program. From site inspections, air, hotel, transportation, banquets, events, activities, on-site program management, I coordinate everything from day of departure to return home, or I could say everything from A to Z.
Travel has been in my life from a very early age. My parents traveled from Spain for my father to pursue his career in art. My brother was born in Venezuela and I was born in Mexico City. I arrived in San Antonio at the age of seven already aware of world travel. Since then, my parents afforded me the opportunity of traveling and seeing different countries in my youth. I have always had a passion for travel and languages. I completed my academic studies of languages at Le Mesnil School of Languages in Montreux, Switzerland where I studied French, Italian and German. Prior to transitioning into the travel industry I was employed by IBM and Xerox giving me an insight to the needs of the corporate world which has proven to be invaluable. I am so fortunate to be working in this industry by choice where my experiences and knowledge can benefit others. Whether your travel needs are professional or personal, my goal is to make your travel experience excellent and memorable.

Interests & Specialties After many years as a retail store owner, stay-at-home mom and active community volunteer, I am thrilled to embark on a career in the travel industry. I grew up in the beautiful state of Kentucky, attended Stephens College in Columbia, MO and moved to San Antonio to complete my education. While at Stephens, I was fortunate to travel throughout Europe for three consecutive summers, once crossing the Atlantic aboard the QE2. Recent travels have taken me on several cruises, snow skiing in Colorado, and to a favorite southern resort destination, Kiawah Island, South Carolina. As a lover of tennis, golf, skiing, hunting and fishing I enjoy experiencing and arranging outdoor adventures. It would be my pleasure to plan a wonderful vacation for you, giving careful attention to every detail.

I have been in the retail travel business for 37 years. Except for Russia, South America and Antarctica, I have traveled the entire world. My area of expertise is Asia. I just recently returned from my 51st trip to Thailand. I have been to all the countries of Asia numerous times, including India, China, Japan, Indonesia (Bali), the Phillipines, Sri Lanka, Myanmar,Nepal and Cambodia. Although I have been to Europe many times, I personally think that the Orient is a much more exotic destination with some of the finest hotels in the world. It offers so many different colorful cultures with exquisite scenery, exciting shopping, and beautiful dancing and handicrafts.

Interests & Specialties I joined the Herff travel office more than eleven years ago. My first career of 30 years was department store merchandising. This involved buying trips to many places in the world each year. It was a logical transition when I entered the travel industry 21 years ago. I’m very familiar with family reunion vacation packages and cruises. I have traveled on European rail system extensively and understand the ease of travel it offers. I have been on most cruise lines many times and because of my own first hand experience I can help you sort out the strengths and values of each line and most itineraries.
